I am a Lecturer in the Discipline of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. Most of my recent research is on early twentieth-century German literature/culture and the history of the human sciences.

I received my Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Minnesota in 2025. I also hold an M.A. in Critical Theory and the Arts from the School of Visual Arts and a B.A. in Music from Bard College.

Currently, I am writing a book about cultural theory in Weimar Germany along with several related research articles and translation projects. In the past, I have written a number of articles on Frankfurt School Critical Theory and the reception of Marx in the Anglo-American academy.

My work has appeared in in New German Critique, Telos, Radical Philosophy, Historical MaterialismCompact Magazine, and elsewhere.
